Beautiful hotel with great location, did not live up to all standards
- What did you like most?The comfortable room and beds, the turndown service and housekeeping. We also loved the view of Commonwealth Avenue and Public Garden. Big kudos to the reception and bellmen, they did a great job.
- Was there anything you didn't like?It was really too bad that the room did not come with breakfast. We really were not impressed by the service of the restaurant on the 17th floor. No one greeted us when my daughter and I walked in nor was there any possibility to have a seat for a drink even just for 15 minutes at 4 pm as the 100+ seats were all reserved for dinner at 5pm that evening. I was whisked away from the bar area and was advised that it was for 21 and up. We felt quite unwelcoming as hotel guests and left to sit at a different hotelbar.
